Present Continuous Tense. Настоящее длительное время

 

Present Continuous Tense (Настоящее длительное/продолженное) - распространенное время в английском языке, относящееся к числу базовых элементарного уровня. Иногда его использование вызывает некоторые трудности, на этой странице вы узнаете обо всех особенностях этого времени, что поможет в дальнейшем применять его без ошибок.

1.  Форма образования глаголов в Present Continuous

Глагол be + смыcловой глагол + ing

Все формы образуются с помощью глагола be + смыслового глагола + ing.

Примеры:

1. This week David is spending his day off with his friends. - На этой неделе Дэвид проводит выходной день со своими друзьями.

2. At the moment Sue is painting the kitchen. - В данный момент Сью красит кухню.

3. At 10 a.m. the tourists are visiting the castle. - В 10.00. туристы посещают музей.

Утвердительная и отрицательная формы

Глагол “to read”– читать
I	am	reading	I	am not	reading
he she it	is	reading	he she it	is not	reading
we you they	are	reading	we you they	are not	reading

Вопросительная форма

Am	I	reading	Am I reading newspapers now?	Yes,  I am.	No, I am not.
Is	he she it	reading	Is he reading newspapers now? Is she reading newspapers now? Is it reading newspapers now?	Yes, he/she/it is.	No, he/she/it is not.
Are	we you they	reading	Are we reading newspapers now? Are you reading newspapers now? Are they reading newspapers now?	Yes, we/you/they are.	No, we/you/they are not.

В специальных вопросах сохраняется тот же порядок слов 

Where Why When While How How long How far

am  I working? is he/she/it working?  are we/you/they working?

В специальных вопросах нужно обратить внимание на то, какое слово считается главным (подлежащим). В зависимости от этого глагол в Present Continuous будет утвердительную или вопросительную форму. 

Who is working with you? - Кто работает с тобой? Who is calling now? - Кто сейчас звонит? What is lying on the table? - Что лежит на столе? What plane is flying in the sky? - Какой самолёт летит в небе?

Who (whom) are you working with? - С кем ты работаешь? Who (whom) is she calling now? - Кому она сейчас звонит? What is he putting on the table? - Что он кладёт на стол? What plane are you flying tonight? - Каким самолётом ты летишь сегодня вечером?
